As well as, the education sector including Sherborne Girls School and Lewiston School. With experience, whilst training, at Junior Performers (Performers College).

Miss Emilie has a very proud 100% pass rate from exam candidates. With former students successfully gaining places at internationally renowned vocational performing colleges, associates courses, and universities.

Alongside teaching, Miss Emilie choreographs solo and group routines for dancers to performa and compete at top dance competitions across the UK. EDA’s performance squads won 6 first place trophies last year.

Performance:

Starting at 8 years old, Miss Emilie danced in professional pantomimes growing up as well as performing with the English Youth Ballet. Performing led to international employment, dancing for brands including ITV & McDonalds. Performing as a dancer and synchronised swimmer at The Hippodrome Circus. Cheerleadering for the infamous Pineapple Studios; performing at events such as the London 2012 Olympics and for Chelsea FC. Dance has taken Miss Emilie across the globe, touring the Greek Islands with Showcase Productions, working as a dance entertainer for Remark Agency, to then training and teaching dance in Australia.

Words from the Principal:
"Looking back after a professional dance career, the training I had growing up was more recreational, due to a lack of technical dance training available in a rural area. I had no depth of dance technique so was behind everyone else when I started my vocational training. Therefore, I strive to be the teacher I wish I had. With an ADHD mind and working with dyslexia, I have first hand experience on understanding how different minds work and learn. I have witnessed the detrimental affects favouritism can have and know the importance of being seen. I want to offer more than recreational dancing. By taking all my qualifications, training and life experience I aim to offer a refreshing new option for dancers from all backgrounds to really excel" - Miss Emilie

With an infectious and energetic personality that is a hit with students of all ages, combined with an infatuation with technique and correct training standards. She is a teacher your child needs to succeed!

OUR TEAM WAS BORN OUT OF A LIFELONG PASSION FOR THE WORLD OF DANCE
